If someone supplies their own equipment, can they connect an oc192 line to the internet backbone?
Say my business is within a couple miles of a portion of the internet backbone(sounds cheesy but i think that is the most technical name), if i supply my own fiber optic lines and pay for the lease on the utility poles, is there a monthly fee, one time fee, or application to be get connected? Are there limitations to what this can do?
basically yes, but you will still have to use their backbone therefore you have to pay rent.
