Display Oscilloscope Good

Display Oscilloscope Good
Basic questions about oscilloscope?? urgently needed... please help....?

1.Give two reasons why a faint display on a CRO is better than a bright one.
2.Which is more accurate for measuring dc voltage - a $300 multimeter or a $2,000 oscilloscope?
3.When could an oscilloscope be more useful than a multimeter?

4.If the original voltage source is 14 VRMS what is the peak-to-peak voltage supplied to the circuit?
5. What causes the changes in the waveform of the output voltage for a full wave rectifier ? Explain.

Some answers:
3. Oscilloscope lets you see behavior over time, particularly for periodic signals; a multimeter only lets you see behavior 'at the instant'.
4. Vpp = Vrms*sqrt(2).
5. The diodes prevent the voltage from changing sign.
