Analog Oscilloscope Working

How do I make my "job experience" sound a little more better?
i am trying to get an Entry level electrical engineer job asap . But i am having trouble with my job experience section here. because eventhough it says that i have experience , it doesn't really say i did anything worthwhile ( like a promotion ,or an award or anything or that sort ) ....
this is what i have so far....
Job Electronics, New york , NY
Electronic Technician April 1999- January 2000
•Experienced in reading and interpreting mechanical, optical, and electrical specifications.
•Adept at use of multi-meters, digital oscilloscopes, DVM and function generators
•Tested analog and digital circuits and generated test reports in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
I wanna make it sound , as if i wasn't just going there ( to work ) so i could waste some time . i hope u understand ..
What should I do ?
First, make sure the grammar and spelling in your resume are better than the grammar and spelling in this question. "sound a little more better?" is awful.
I don't think anyone would expect you to have a promotion or an award after working with this company for 9 months. I think the bigger question will be why did you leave and do you have any other engineering experience.
You worked here for less than a year. Do you have other work experience? Did you work at another company for a longer period of time? Were you good at your job at Jobs Electronics? Did you boss think you did a good job?
Good luck
